2 man deliveries for large items such as range cookers can be arranged for you, either on a to site only basis or as an into the property service. Connection onto existing supplies can also be arranged for side by side refrigeration items. Some specialist range cookers may require a 4 man crew to meet health and safety requirements. Please call us to discuss your requirements and so we can confirm product dimensions/weights, access to property (steps/doorways etc) and any other relevant information we may require. We can then give you an accurate price for the service.
When you place an order you should have received an E-mail confirming this, if not, please contact us. Please allow up to 24 hours for this E-mail to generate in during busy periods. Delivery is usually within 7 to 21 days but can take longer. Stock items may be delivered within 48 hours depending upon location.
Items that have to be ordered specially ie. range cookers and American fridge freezers can take more than 21 days depending on the manufacturer. Certain products are delivered direct to site and are therefore subject to the manufactures delivery schedules. For a firm lead time on a specific product please contact us.
DELIVERY & SHIPPING TERMS & REQUIREMENTS
Our delivery service is a delivery to site and operates on a driver only basis by a carrier firm using a palletised system. The driver will oversee removing the appliance from the vehicle and to the nearest entry point using a set of wheels. Alternatively, he may put the item in the garage as long as access is clear and not obstructed. Please note that we are not able to work to times, as routes are planned in the most logical & cost effective way.
For insurance reasons no provision is made for carrying items up any steps or into customer’s property. Customers are required to make their own arrangements for assistance if it is needed on large items. This includes in the cases of large items, measuring to make sure that items will physically go through doorways etc. Discount Appliance Centre cannot be held responsible if an item has been purchased & it will not fit into a property. If there is a problem arranging for assistance with your delivery, you can arrange for a “two man” delivery at an extra cost. Please contact us for details. This has to be arranged in advance.
The discount appliance centre does not remove existing appliances from site. Also, there is no provision made for removing packaging. Discount Appliance Centre does not connect any appliances on delivery.
Please ensure that you unpack and check all deliveries within 48 hours (24 hours in the case of Stainless Steel items) and notify us of any problems within this time period. Even you are not fitting for a period of time, please check items straight away. Any claims for cosmetic damage received after the stated times will not be considered under any circumstances. No claims for cosmetic damage will be considered after being handled by a third party under any circumstances.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS INFORMATION
You may withdraw from this agreement at any time up to 7 working days after we have delivered the goods to you. If we have delivered the goods, you must not have used them and must have kept the item and packaging in the condition they were delivered. You must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your cost. We reserve the right to impart a charge in case where goods are returned to ourselves and are received damaged. All items that have been specially ordered (i.e. were not stock items at the time of purchase) will be subject to a 25% re stocking charge.
If you wish to return the goods more than 7 working days after we have delivered the goods to you, you must not have used them and must have kept them in the condition they were delivered. You must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your cost. There will be an additional administration charge of 25% of the purchase price of the goods returned over and above any transport costs.
We will reimburse any amounts you have paid to us within 30 days of return of the goods, having deducted any return costs and administration fee if applicable
This guarantee is in addition to any warranties or conditions implied by law and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
